Resident Visitation

Briarwood Manor Visitation Guidelines

  • Visitation Hours will be Monday –Sunday 9:00 am – 7:00 pm.
  • Visits should occur in the resident’s room only when the resident room is occupied by one    resident.
  • If the resident’s room is occupied by two residents then the visitation will be in a designated area.
  • Designated areas will include conference room, north activity lounge and outdoor areas
  • Core principles of COVID 19 infection prevention must be adhered to at all times.
  • Visitors must maintain physical distance from other residents and staff and should not walk throughout the facility.
  • Visitors should wear a mask when entering the facility and during visits regardless of vaccination status.
  • Visitors who have tested positive for COVID 19, have symptoms of COVID 19 irrespective of test result, has had a close contact with someone who has tested positive, or currently meet the criteria for quarantine, should not enter the facility.
  • All Visitors must enter in the back of the building by awning.
  • On the day of the visit all visitors will be required to fill out Briarwood Manor’s COVID-19 screening questionnaire on our web site (briawoodmanor.com) resident visitation tab and have temperature taking prior to entering the facility.
  • Please sign the guest register when entering the facility.  Please check in with facility staff in North office.
  • Residents will be limited to 4 visitors at a time, the frequency and the length of visit will not be limited.  If larger groups would like to visit please call Case Management to for scheduling.
  • Residents are permitted to leave the facility as they choose.
  • Please report immediately if there has been a possible close contact to an individual with COVID-19 while outside the facility.
  • If the resident is unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated, the resident will be placed in quarantine and the Local Health Department will be contacted. If the resident becomes symptomatic for COVID-19, the resident will be placed on transmission-based precautions regardless of vaccination status and will be tested.
  • If a resident is out of the facility for 24 hours or more, we will monitor the resident daily for signs/symptoms and the resident will be tested for COVID upon return and again after 3 and 5 days from return. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse any visitor who does not pass the health screening, is disruptive, or presents a danger to any resident or staff. If you are ill, please stay home.
