Visitation Hours will be Monday –Sunday 9:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Visits should occur in the resident’s room only when the resident room is occupied by one resident.
If the resident’s room is occupied by two residents then the visitation will be in a designated area.
Designated areas will include conference room, north activity lounge and outdoor areas
Core principles of COVID 19 infection prevention must be adhered to at all times.
Visitors must maintain physical distance from other residents and staff and should not walk throughout the facility.
Visitors should wear a mask when entering the facility and during visits regardless of vaccination status.
Visitors who have tested positive for COVID 19, have symptoms of COVID 19 irrespective of test result, has had a close contact with someone who has tested positive, or currently meet the criteria for quarantine, should not enter the facility.
All Visitors must enter in the back of the building by awning.
On the day of the visit all visitors will be required to fill out Briarwood Manor’s COVID-19 screening questionnaire on our web site (briawoodmanor.com) resident visitation tab and have temperature taking prior to entering the facility.
Please sign the guest register when entering the facility. Please check in with facility staff in North office.
Residents will be limited to 4 visitors at a time, the frequency and the length of visit will not be limited. If larger groups would like to visit please call Case Management to for scheduling.
Residents are permitted to leave the facility as they choose.
Please report immediately if there has been a possible close contact to an individual with COVID-19 while outside the facility.
If the resident is unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated, the resident will be placed in quarantine and the Local Health Department will be contacted. If the resident becomes symptomatic for COVID-19, the resident will be placed on transmission-based precautions regardless of vaccination status and will be tested.
If a resident is out of the facility for 24 hours or more, we will monitor the resident daily for signs/symptoms and the resident will be tested for COVID upon return and again after 3 and 5 days from return.
We reserve the right to refuse any visitor who does not pass the health screening, is disruptive, or presents a danger to any resident or staff. If you are ill, please stay home.
