Activities Briarwood Manor offers a wide variety of daily activities designed to both entertain and stimulate the residents. Residents are often entertained with singers who provide the residents with an opportunity to enjoy the songs they remember from their youth. Weekly Bingo and Card games are also popular with many of the residents. Morning exercise classes are also available for those who like to get their blood moving early. Case Management Our Case Managers are always available to provide help for residents and their families regarding many issues that may arise while they are living with us. Our Case Managers are always happy to discuss the various community resources available as well as financial and medical issues that may arise. Dietary The dietary department provides three nutritionally balanced "home cooked" meals a day. Meals are served waitress style by our caring aides. The dining room has been recently expanded and decorated to promote warmth and friendships. Meal substitutions are available for those with specific likes and dislikes. Private dining services are available for special events. Housekeeping/Laundry Daily housekeeping and laundry services. Personal Care Under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse, personal service aides assist with medication and activities of daily living on a 24-hour basis. We can provide comprehensive rehabilitation services for our residents wellness. |
